Dr. Adel Shafik is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology with extensive experience in clinical practice and women’s healthcare. He is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology Ain Shams University,
Professor Adel offers specialized medical consultations in infertility and ICSI/IVF, distinguishing him as a pioneer in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART). Moreover, his mastery in managing Recurrent Pregnancy Loss (RPL) reflects his clinical excellence in providing tailored solutions for complex cases.
Prof. Amr Elnory
Professor Dr. Amr El-Nouri is a Consultant of Obstetrics and Gynecology, He is a Professor at the National Institute of Laser Enhanced Sciences (NILES) with extensive clinical and academic experience. Prof. Baris Kaya
Baris Kaya is an Associate Professor at Basaksehir Cam and Sakura City Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey. His research interests encompass a range of topics, including obstetrics, gynecology, postpartum hemorrhage, minimally invasive gynaecologic surgery, medical education, and placenta. Dr. Kaya is particularly known for his expertise in laparoscopic deep infiltrating endometriosis surgery and management of postpartum hemorrhage. His work has been recognized by the World Health Organization, which recommended uterine balloon tamponade for the treatment of postpartum haemorrhage. Dr. Kaya's contributions to the field of endometriosis surgery, particularly in deep infiltrating endometriosis, have been significant. His research and clinical practice have been evaluated in various studies, contributing to the advancement of surgical techniques and patient outcomes.
Prof. Benoit Rabischong
Dr. Benoit Rabischong Pr Benoit Rabischong, M.D Ph.D, is full Professor in Gynecological Surgery Department of University Hospital of Clermont-Ferrand (CHU Estaing) in France specialized in Minimal Invasive Gynecological Surgery (Laparoscopy and Robotic). He’s also the head of training in CICE (Centre International de Chirurgie Endoscopique, Clermont-Ferrand). He gave more than two hundred and fifty conferences or lectures as invited faculty in various international events. He was president of the International Society of Neuropelveology (ISON) from 2020 to 2022 and he’s the immediate past president of the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE) and the current Director of ESGE Academy.
Ertan Saridogan Ertan Saridogan is a consultant in reproductive medicine and minimal access surgery at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He is a past president of the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy, and the president of the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE). His clinical interests include laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery for benign gynaecological conditions, reproductive surgery, endometriosis, fibroids and outpatient hysteroscopy. His research interests include non-invasive diagnosis of endometriosis, clinical outcomes following endometriosis surgery, outpatient hysteroscopy, and the place of screening and risk-reducing surgery in women with a history of familial cancer.

Prof. Evy Gillet
Dr. Evy Gillet graduated as a doctor with summa com laude from the Free University of Brussels in 2010. Foreign internships, including in the Philippines and Kenya where she ended up in some hectic maternity wards, inspired her to specialize further in gynecology and obstetrics. After a year of training in Bloemfontein, South Africa, she ended up at the UVC Brugmann hospital in Brussels. In the first years after specialization, her focus was mainly on senology (disorders of the breast). As deputy clinic head at the UVC Brugmann, Brussels, she is currently mainly involved in hysteroscopy and gynecological ultrasound.
Prof. Fitnat Topbas Selcuki
Dr. Fitnat Topbas Selcuki Doctor of Philosophy Candidate, Nuffield Department of Women’s & Reproductive Health, University of Oxford, United Kingdom; MD, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University of Health Sciences Turkey, Sisli Hamidiye Etfal Training and Research Hospital, Istanbul, Turkey. Nura Fitnat Topbas Selcuki is a DPhil candidate in the EndoCaRe Group at Women’s and Reproductive Health at the University of Oxford. Fitnat’s research focuses on the genetic basis of adenomyosis compared to endometriosis. She will be performing genome-wide association studies to evaluate disease-associated variants. She also aims to expand the ancestral diversity of existing study populations by including two studies from the Eastern Mediterranean region, Cyprus Women’s Health Research (COHERE) Initiative and Turkey Oxford Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Study (TROX), in her analyses.
Prof. Gasser El Bishry
Dr. Gasser El Bishry is a British-Egyptian consultant and professor of Minimal Access (Laproscopic) Surgery at Ain Shams University, Cairo. He brings over 30 years of experience in advanced minimally invasive gynaecologic procedures.
He is also co-founder of FORGE, an educational initiative for surgical training, and GOALS, a dedicated center for excellence in laproscopic surgery.
Prof. George Pados
George Pados is a prominent gynecologist and researcher with a strong
academic background. He holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) and a PhD,
and has been a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Aristotle
University of Thessaloniki. His research contributions include studies on
the efficacy and safety of endoscopic evaluations and the treatment of
tubal disease. Pados is also involved in surveying the European Society
for Gynaecological Endoscopy to increase awareness of the diagnosis
and surgical treatment of tubal disease as an alternative to
invitro fertilization (IVF). His work has been published in reputable journals such as the European Journal of Midwifery, indicating his significant
impact on the field of gynecology.
Prof. Grigoris Grimbizis
Prof. Grigoris Gribizis Grigoris Gribizis, Professor of Obstetrics-Gynecology and Director of the 1st Obstetrics-Gynecology Clinic, AUTH at G.N. Papageorgiou, is the President of the Scientific Council of “Genesis” and of the Medically Assisted Reproduction Unit “Fertilia by Genesis”. He graduated from the School of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki where he completed his doctoral thesis. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), as well as the Boards of Directors of the Hellenic Fertility and Sterility Society, the Hellenic Obstetrics and Gynecology Society and the Hellenic Society of Gynecological Endoscopy. He is the past President of the Management Board of the European Society of Gynecological Endoscopy (ESGE) having been the President of the Executive Board of the Society and having undertaken a coordinating role in writing the corresponding guidelines.
Prof. Hassan Sallam
Hassan Nooman Sallam is professor and former head of the department of obstetrics and gynaecology in Alexandria University in Egypt and clinical director of the Alexandria Fertility and Assisted Reproduction Center established in 1984. He was a founding member of the IVF unit at King’s College Hospital (London, UK) in 1981 and St-Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center – Columbia University (New York, NY, USA) in 1984. Dr. Sallam qualified form Alexandria University where he also completed his residency in obstetrics and gynaecology. He subsequently worked in the UK under the chairmanship of Professor Sir Malcolm McNaughton in Glasgow Royal Maternity Hospital in 1978 and Professor Stuart Campbell at King’s College Hospital in London from 1979 to 1984. Besides the fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG), he holds a doctorate degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Alexandria University and a PhD in reproductive biochemistry from the University of London. He has published more than 100 papers in national and international refereed journals in 3 languages as well as 3 books. He is the co-author of “Infertility and Assisted Reproduction”, the reference textbook published in 2008 by Cambridge University Press. Dr. Sallam is former vice-dean and director of research in Alexandria University Faculty of Medicine. He was the founder and former director of the Alexandria (formerly Suzanne Mubarak) Regional Center for Women's Health and Development. In 1998, he served as the overseas examiner to the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London. He was also the recipient of the 2012 Historical Lecture of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of England. Dr. Sallam served/serves on the editorial boards of many journals including "Human Reproduction" from 2000 to 2004, "Reproductive Biomedicine Online" from 2002 to 2008, the "Middle East Fertility Society Journal" and “Facts, Views and Visions in OB/GYN” (Official Journal of the Flemish Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology) since their inception and is an ad hoc reviewer for 12 other journals. He is a founding board member of the Middle East Fertility Society, based in Beirut, Lebanon and the founding chairman of the Mediterranean Society for Reproductive Medicine, based in Florence, Italy. He is also an executive board member of the International Society of IVF. His current research interests include biochemical approaches for embryo selection, optimizing embryo transfer, prediction of OHSS, endometriosis-associated infertility and repeated implantation failure. He is also active in the fields of “infertility for developing countries” and “combating violence against women”.
Prof. Mohamed Fawzy
Dr. Mohamed Fawzy is currently the Radiology Advisor to the Minister of Health. He is the head of the diagnostic and intervention radiology department of National Hepatology & Tropical Research Institute (NHTMRI) in Cairo. He has proven expertise in the use of HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) technology, applying advanced, non-invasive techniques to improve patient outcomes in gynecological care.
Prof. Mohamed H. Salama
Dr. Mohamed H. Salama is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ain Shams University and a Consultant in Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery.
He is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), UK, and holds an ESGE Master’s Degree in Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery from Belgium. He also earned the European Universities Diploma in Gynecological Endoscopy from France.
He serves as the Chief Mentor of the GESEA Training Center – Cairo Branch, where he plays a key role in surgical education and hands-on training in advanced gynecological endoscopy.
In addition to his academic and clinical roles, He is actively involved in professional education and conference organization and serves as the Conference Coordinator of EndoEgypt 2026.
He is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), UK, and holds an ESGE Master’s Degree in Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery from Belgium. He also earned the European Universities Diploma in Gynecological Endoscopy from France.

Prof. Rudi Campo
Dr. Rudi Campo Dr. Rudi Campo is one of the international recognized hysteroscopic surgeons with a major experience in uterine diagnosis and treatment in the infertile patient. Dr. Rudi Campo has international recognition in his field and received the honorary membership of the European society of Gynaecological endoscopy and the Golden Needle award from the German society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology as a life time achievement. He is past president and director of the board of the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE). He is also responsible for the educational brand of the European Board Obstetrics and Gynaecology (EBCOG) as an executive board member. Furthermore, he is one of the founders of The European Academy of Gynaecological Surgery, Today MIS Academy Europe, to encourage the exchange of clinical experience, scientific thoughts and investigation among gynaecological endoscopists and practitioners, to establish an apolitical body for scientific research and standardization.
Prof. Rudy Leon De Wilde
Prof. Rudy Leon De Wilde Prof. Rudy Leon De Wilde is a prominent figure in the field of gynecology, holding the position of Professor of Gynecology at the University of Oldenburg and Medical Director of the Pius Hospital Oldenburg. He has been a leader in the Department of Gynecology, Obstetrics, and Gynecological Oncology at the University Clinic of Gynecology. His academic achievements include a Ph.D. from the University of Bochum and a residency in obstetrics and gynecology in Germany. Prof. De Wilde is also a gynecological endocrinologist and reproductive and sexual medicine specialist. He has received numerous awards for his contributions to oncology, plastic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and gynecological surgical techniques. His research includes publications on operative gynecology and has been involved in the development of German and European criteria for minimally invasive certifications. Prof. De Wilde is a founding member of the Federal Working Group of Leading Physicians in Obstetrics and Gynecology and has held leadership positions in various national and international professional societies.
Prof. Stavros Karambelas
Dr. Stavros Karampelas Dr. Stavros Karampelas graduated from the American Community Schools of Athens and then he attended the School of Medicine of the University of Patras where he obtained his medical degree. His medical career started with digestive surgery in which he specialised for two years and then he moved on to the speciality of Gynaecology and Obstetrics. After finishing this specialty, he sub-specialised in endometriosis for 3 years at UCL Catholic University of Leuven at the hospital St Luc. Following this subspecialty, he worked as a specialist at St Joseph hospital in Mons where he was the doctor to whom referrals were made for endometriosis and complex surgery and the coordinator of the gynaecologic oncology for two years. His next step was a sub-specialty in oncology for one year at the hospital La Citadelle in Liège. He is now the Head of the department of gynaecology at the University hospital CHU Brugmann in Brussels where he has created an Endometriosis Clinic, an Oncology Clinic, a Bleeding Clinic and more recently an Isthmocele Clinic.
Prof. Sayed El Akhras
Dr. Sayed El Akhras is a Consultant in Assisted Reproductive Medicine and Surgery, as well as a Consultant in Advanced Endoscopic Surgery with a special focus on endometriosis.
He is the Founder and Chairman of the Scientific Egyptian Society of Endometriosis (EndoEgypt) and has completed a Fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy and Endometriosis in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
He serves as the Director of the GESEA Training Centre, where he is actively involved in advancing surgical education and training in gynecological endoscopy.
In addition to his clinical and academic roles, Dr. El Akhras is the President of the EndoEgypt 2026 Conference, contributing significantly to the advancement of endometriosis awareness, education, and research in the region.

Prof. Tanos Vassilios is a Consultant Gynecologist and Head of the Reproductive Medicine, Surgery, and IVF Unit at Aretaeio Hospital, Nicosia.
He is a highly respected expert in gynecological endoscopic surgery and reproductive medicine, serving as the president elect of the European Society of Gynecological Endoscopy (ESGE) and Scientific Director of the European Academy for Gynecological Surgery (EAGS).
Prof. Vassilios is the Chair of the GESEA Program (Gynecological Endoscopic Surgery Education and Assessment). He has previously served as Coordinator of the ESHRE Certification in Reproductive Endoscopic Surgery (ECRES) and as Past Coordinator of the Reproductive Surgery Special Interest Group (RS SIG) of ESHRE.
